Challenge: It's Memorial Day. Remembering our fallen soldiers.

Well, all I can say is that my hubby is getting ready to retire after almost 21 years in the Air Force.
He had a wonderful opportunity today. He was asked to play TAPS at one of the local veteran's cemetaries.
We were up at 0430. He had to be there by 0545.
We did go get breakfast afterwards at IHOP. An older gentleman and his wife came over to our table and expressed their gratitude for DH's service to our country. DH was still in his uniform. When we got ready to leave, our waitress informed us that our bill had been taken care of already.
We were very surprised!
