Genome Exhibit

Today, we went to the member's opening of the new exhibit at the Witte Museum. DS was fascinated by all the info. What was it about????? DNA. The exhibit is officially called Genome: The Secret of How Life Works. The member's opening was
1 1/2 hours before the offical opening of the museum. It started with a catered breakfast of tacos, fruit, yogurts, juices, coffee and water. There were quite a bit of people there. After breakfast, we went to the kids area where A built a double helix out of twizzlers and gumdrops. He also got to view his epithelials under a microscope. We then went in to the exhibit. I will have to post some pictures later.
They also had a Marvelous Mutations exhibit which we saw briefly.
